The ABC’s of SALVATION

A: Admit you’re a sinner

B: Believe that Jesus is Lord and died for your Sins

C: Call upon his name

This is a very simplified version of the parts of Salvation. I have compiled a more detailed list I call the 7 parts of Salvation.  This list is explained in detail in my podcast #140 Season 3,

Named 7 Parts of Salvation. The list contains the following;

1. Conviction of personal sins.

2. Repentance of sins.

3. God’s Grace.

4. Belief in Jesus Christ.

5. Faith in Jesus Christ and what he did on the cross by shedding his blood.

6. Pray to God to ask him to forgive you for your sins and save you.

7. A changed life.

This is sample prayer that can help you to understand.

Dear Heavenly Father, I believe that I am a sinner and that Jesus died for me and paid for all my sins on the cross.  I believe that Jesus rose from the dead. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. I put my faith in Jesus Christ and his shed Blood. I ask him to be my Lord and Savior. I want to live my life for Christ. I understand that my salvation is not based on my works but on the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. Thank you for saving me. Amen

Now just repeating a prayer but not believing it will not get you saved. You must accept the fact that you are a born sinner and the wages of sin is death. Jesus took our punishment on the cross by shedding his innocent blood, so we may be forgiven. This is a free gift that cannot be earned by good works. If you truly believe in Jesus and what he has done for you and you ask God to forgive you and save you, God will answer you’r prayer. He will know what is in your heart and will save you. In other words you can’t fake it. God knows the truth.

Eph 2:8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph 2:9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
